| Children competing at Little Athletics are encouraged to compete in ALL events. Lilydale & Yarra Ranges has a set of Achievement Level Awards designed to reward children for attaining a certain performance standard across a range of events. There are various levels catering for all ability levels. The five levels are :-
The Tables below set out the target times and distances for each age group, colour level and event. Boys and girls operate under different Tables. Ribbons and Certificates are awarded when an Achievement Level is reached. It is necessary to attain a performance standard in a minimum number of events for a particular level to be eligible for an award. For example, U8 Girls are required to reach the standard in a minimum of 5 events for a particular colour level, U9 Girls 6 events and so on. A tables setting out the number for each age group is provided HERE!!! Note : Gold Ribbons are awarded for each event in which a Gold standard is reached.
